Hiya WOYWW'ers and grand leader Julia!
It's been such a long time to be AWOL but today I'm back.
(Reason? No enthusiasm for anything basically but I'm working on it ;) !)
I've moved the table to the corner behind the door so that at least when I'm looking into the room from outside (or guests pass by!) the mess isn't immediately obvious!!!
I may as well sock you in the eye now with the disaaaaaaaaster area that is my dining table hidden behind the door!! HOL
The pink tape runner was purchased recently after reading the revue that Hels did...I likey ;)
Stamps (piles of them) waiting inspiration for some DT work at The Artistic Stamper (the new monthly challenge is up tomorrow 1st March so do come back for that.
And my A5 journal open at a page in progress.....well it is sort of finished I only have some writing to add.....except I am scared to write on it and spoil the darn thing!!! ROFL
Thanks for looking......I'll try not to be away so long again!
Pop over and visit Julia who has all the desks in the world on show today :)
xoxo Sioux
Now I like the first picture of the dining room, but I also like the second picture, but which is better? There's only one way to find out - CRAFT.

Love the strategic planning to be able to look through the door and see no mess - but it's not a mess anyway, just a busy, productive area (Hazel, WOYWW #5) x
ReplyDeleteDon't be scared to write on it...that's what it is for...I do understand your predicament though...happy crafting:)

I am liking the look of the journal pages - a lot! I messed up the one I have on show today, I think it's too busy now!! Good to see your desk back here, where it belongs... thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteWhen all else fails....hide it! Love your space, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you fool your guests into thinking you are beautifully tidy and then hide all the stash behind the door, very crafty!!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks wonderful. Gone on be a daredevil and write on your journal!!
Have fun.
Hugs Lisax
Love the way that you positioned the desk to hide the muses whilst they are at work! The space looks loved! Fabulous. Have a great WOYWW! -Amanda 80
ReplyDeleteI like how you hid the mess away from easily prying eyes. And I'm not sure it is "mess" so much as creative chaos, which is totally different. I like the journal pages. I understand about not wanting to ruin them.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a disaster it's a wonderfully creative desk! Happy WOYWWing. Debbie #89
ReplyDeleteI like hiding things behind doors too (pop over mine & take a look!) good plan! Great goodies all over your desk. Happy Wednesday to you, enjoy your snoop around the oh so creative desks and take care. Zo xx 83

Hi there, I'm a bit behind but wanted to pop my head round the door and say hello. Hoping you have a good and creative rest of the week. Your journal pages look lovely from here and I know what you mean about being scared to write in case you spoil it; but be brave, be very brave!

Like the table move...it removes that grr moment when you know you should've cleared up but didn't want to, am all for that! Nice to see you here again gal, your desk doesn't suggest can't be bothered at all! Got enough archival ink pads? Try writing on vellum and just slotting it in for now...give you an better idea of how it will look before you commit totally!!
ReplyDeletetable looks like such fun!
ReplyDeletehope your mojo comes back soon, happy crafting,x
ReplyDeleteYou take all that time hiding your table round the corner and then share a photo with the world, but why not. Lovely journal pages
ReplyDeleteFrom another dining table crafter - but I just shut the door on my mess and padlock it.
