T!mtastic Hallowe'en

Yeh! It's back.......Grungy Monday that is :))))))
Here is my piece for Grungy Monday No 22 hosted by Linda at Studio L3.
This week the challenge is A Holtz-ian Hallowe'en.
I'm so glad I can join in this week......I love a bit of the dark side!! ;)
Whooooa (said with a spooky accent LOL)
I believe T!m's skelibob helped me win The Stamper of the Year title back in December 2009 ;) so I revisited the theme using the dancer again....only this time I did not have to draw it from scratch as it's now a stamp!!!! How cool ;)

At the time I could not get the skeleton for love nor money anywhere in the UK so I had to order it from Simon Says who came up trumps......I was very panicky in case it did not arrive in time for me to finish the piece (it had taken me a couple of years to pluck up the courage to enter!).....but luckily it did and the rest is history as they say!
Little did I know that 5 months later my DH would pass away.
....my tag says "Is this my beginning or is this the end?".....these are issues I'm still working on!
Thanks for the inspiration T!m........I could not have done it without you ;)
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!
xoxo Sioux

P.S. The link to my stamp sets are in the side bar if you are interested.
I'm sharing a piece for The Artistic Stamper tomorrow...so do come back and take a look :)

Grungy Monday - Read and Learn

This week the challenge is to use T!m's April 2008 technique challenge.
I'm so glad I had today as a holiday day and could have a bit of fun with this :)
I had to stop play on the mirror as my Melt Pot refuses to work....well that is the lights are coming on but it won't heat up!!!
I would not mind if I had used it loads...but since I bought it when it first appeared on QVC I have used it a maximum of 4 times...it is way past the guarantee date!
Anyways here is my tag......I decided to make tags for this challenge and then I will have a bundle of inspiration at my finger tips...just as if I might have been to Ranger U! LOL

I wish I had used a more vibrant coloured paper....but I didn't so I'll have to live with it!!! ;)

Grungy Monday - Faux Batik

This week the challenge is to use T!m's January 2008 technique challenge Faux Batik.

I've never tried this before.....purely 'cos I'm lazy and can't see the point of going to the trouble of getting out the iron!!! LOL
But....having actually done it....I sort of see the point now....but then again I sort of don't! HOL
I really must store this away in the filing cabinet of my brain 'cos I expect it could be the perfect thing for using a different stamp combo in the future :)

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

I'm glad I could join in again this week and here are the colours I used :)

Double EDIT!! Double Whoops!!! Forgot to put the Faded Jeans on the pile as well!!!

I learnt everything I know from reading T!m's blog because where I live there just is nowhere to learn these things.....oh! the joys of the internet.
Thanks for the inspiration T!m........you are a star!

Cheerful Sunday Stamper

Hels Sunday Stamper this week wants us to use stash that makes you happy :)
I couldn't be more happy than when I am using my rubber stamps (especially T!m's) and distress inks ;)
So I did! LOL
I was up way too early again this morning so why lie in bed struggling to sleep when you can make tags instead!! LOL I should have been able to sleep for England after all the work I put into the garden yesterday!

I'm also trying to do a bit of a catch up over at Grungy Monday and this idea came from Grungy Monday No 7 hosted by Linda

The challenge week has long since closed but I used T!m's video showing the colour block technique to make the background only I used the postage stamp from the "I see Paris" set instead of the ink blending tool.
Added part of the carte postal from the same set and the Eiffel tower and scrolls were smaller stamps from a clear stamp set of T!ms.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

Grungy Monday No 9

This week the challenge is to use T!m's 2007 Day 10 Christmas tag technique for that shabby chic look.
It's a big bonus to be on holiday today so I can join in again :)

Mine has turned out much darker than I'd like mainly because I only have 4 colours of dabber....ideally I would have liked to add a touch of pinkness to the background but I had to make do with sitting the word fragments on a bit of pink card instead!!! LOL
To try to give it a bit of a lift I added some gold dabber in places and added the T!m word photograph in white dabber.

Thanks for the inspiration T!m........you are a diamond ;)

P.S. I always apologise when using this stamp as I know clowns freak so many of you!
What can I say........I love this stamp! HOL

Grungy Monday No 8

This week the challenge is to use T!m's 2008 technique challenge.
I'm so glad I can join in for the first time this week :)

I may only be just in time but I hope to make something tomorrow as well for the new challenge seeing as I have the day off ;)
All due to a Bank Holiday here in the UK and the lousy weather today where I live.
...oh!.....and the fact I woke up at 5.30 this morning!!! LOL

Do you know.....yesterday I was sooooo cold I nearly put the central heating back on but I decided to wrap a blanket round me instead!!
At least that saves me some money....see it is just a matter of changing your point of view! HOL
