Sending out an S.O.S.

Did you have a little giggle at my post on Sunday?
It became the inspiration for this ATC

Stamped and masked the T!m lady three times then dragged DI scattered straw over to colour the background
...coloured the front lady with brushed corduroy/aged mahogany and shabby shutters
...made some vaguely looking toilet tissue pieces of paper by using an X-cut perfortator and pulling apart then stamping the Studio G letters for SOS in Di faded jeans
...Adirondack dimensional acrylic filled in the exclamation marks!
...I don't think you would want to mess with these three if they had been locking in the lavatory from Monday to Saturday!! HOL

Thanks for looking and happy stamping
xoxo Sioux

  1. Brilliant ATC Sioux and a giggle worthy tale too...the blue eyeliner on loo paper idea reminded me of my own efforts to contact David when I was in the bathroom with the pricking tool in my leg! The things our creative minds come up with, it's no wonder we are never short of ideas and inspiration comes in many forms! Well, I shall keep my fingers crossed that you get to Tim's workshop in February X. Meanwhile, I'll see you on Saturday...hopefully it won't all go wrong as in my dream a few nights ago when I turned up and realised that we had forgotten to buy the mirrors! Lol! Take care, Lindsay x x

  5. Oh Sioux, what a giggle I've just been having a catch up with Saturdays post. I haven't heard that song for years. We used to sing it to my Sister who did get stuck in the lav when she was very small. It used to drive her nuts, so we sang it all the more!!
Your ATC is brilliant, they do look like they're on a mission don't they.
I hope you get your TH tickets, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

  6. Oh Sioux, this is brilliant - you've an amazing sense of humour and it shows. Love the design of it but the story behind it is even better, lol. You COULD have felt sorry for yourself but no, you found the funny side of it and made others laugh, too. That's a real and rare gift. Good for you! Hope you managed to get your tickets, lol.
