I know we all say it and at the risk of sounding repetitive
.....how come it's Wednesday again already?!!!
Here is a different shot of my new work surface!
You know I've comendeered using the dining table again?.......this is a slight move to the right of that and now I'm also using the top of a chest of drawers that have found their way into the dining room as well......they used to be in the bedroom but since getting a new bed they just don't really fit in anymore! They are on castors so I could easily move them and as they already had drawers full of craft stuff it seemed to make sense :) I can so easily move them back to the bedroom for a short while if I want to have friends round for a meal :)
Another chunky book page is in progress on there.....I'll post my latest page tomorrow :)
See you then
Morning Sioux I wish I could jump into your photo & come & play. :)
ReplyDeleteI can see some lovely stamps itching to be inked up. Love the colour of your background. Great idea with the drawers.xx

I cant think of a better use for a dining room table!!! Think having your draws stuffed with crafting goodies just there is perfect!....love that background you have created! Hugs Juls
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with moving furniture around to make crafting more easy. I'm considering moving a bit more into our 'cubby hole' now I've cleared it out so I can get more in my workroom!!!!!!!! I spy some lovely Tim stamps and a gorgeous chunky page ready for the next bit of arty genious.
ReplyDeleteLuv Joanne xx
Look forward to coming seeing how that page turns out. Glad to see you're using your time productively, lol and who cares if the drawers are in the dining room? You enjoy it!! Good luck with the tent idea, too. Happy WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteoh love the things, you have on your desk, hun would love to come over and play hugs cheryl xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi love the rich colours. I know what it like to get space when your crafting. I use my massage couch to put all my papers on and cutting tools when needed quickly and then its easy to put away when I have to use it. big Hugs Joxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sioux
ReplyDeletelovely creative desk/table, gorgeous colours on that paper, lovely stamps there, thanks for the snoop, have a great WOYWW, sue,x
Now come on admit it - you are on a secret mission to take over the dining room aren't you? And who could blame you - let's face it, most of us need a craft room MUCH more than a dining room!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really interesting. I too am a dining table crafter - loads of space to spread around but I still can't find anything!

love the colours and I think you probably should just continue to wheel that set of drawers to each crafting spot as the space allows...
ReplyDeleteI used the dining table for a long time. Love that project you're working on. Great colours.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fabulous, I love the rich colours!
ReplyDeleteChrissie

Love your piece of art on your desk today, lovely rich colours, look forward to seeing the finished article. Great desk area too. Have a lovely evening, Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteLove the colours in your project this week.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should use the dinning table to craft - so much space to spread out, just what us crafters need
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Hugs Candace
Great background there and I love that pen stamp - nothing wrong with using the dining room table to craft after all you cant spend all day eating at it can you!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an AI background !! Busy desk area !!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, you just gotta spread the love throughout the house! Have fun with your chunky pages!
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too much storage and it's great when you can recycle bits of furniture you already have. I need to rescue a bookcase I've had since I was a girl from my hubby's study so I can use it to put my craft stuff on, may just get round to it soon!

great desk there, thanks for sharing

Loving that bright chunky page you are working on. Wait for finish.
ReplyDeletethe background color is great! Can;t wait to see the finished page!
ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing at the moment - I am not artistic enough to get up to that sort of stuff but I am learning! Any place is good for crafting - ha, ha we must spread our wings!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cardarian
Fab work - what's it for?
ReplyDeleteYour pages are so great! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThat background has a certain rich elegance about it. And having a chest of drawers on wheels is a super way to make a portable art space. Sorry I'm late, but I have contracted a computer virus. It's still not fixed, but I had to make sure I wasn't infecting anyone.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea about the drawers - even great logic, Sioux....but is this the start of the end for the dining room?? I wouldn't be able to clear up sufficiently well to entertain!! Love what you're working on at the mo - that ruler edge frame is fab.
ReplyDeleteWow did you make that paper all by yourself? It looks absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteAnd every place to craft is a good place to craft
Happy belated WOYWW
