WOYWW comes around again! I was sad not to have been able to join in with the anniversary but anyway..........The answer this week is........
........
........
........
A lot of stuff piled high!!!!!
When I was doing a tidy away before the funeral I did not have the time nor the inclination to put things away properly and so a lot of it got dumped in archive boxes and pushed into the wardrobe or this little lot that just got dumped on top of the desk in my cupboard!!!
I don't know where the hours a going in my days now.....never any spare time it seems....makes a big difference not sharing the household chores for starters I can tell you!! LOL
What is more I have more waking hours in the day to use!!! I have gone from someone who could sleep for England to someone who is wide awake at........wait for it..............
5.10 a.m. yesterday for instance!!!!!! Strangely I don't feel any the worse for it!
Still....my world is full of strange spooky stuff at the minute...........most of it piled high on my desk!!! LOL
Thanks for looking
Sioux
Wonderful to see you posting again. Believe me my desk looks very much like that all the time, I spend a lot of time working on the floor!!! lol Hope you have a good day and find time to be creative. Hugs Anesha
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing x
ReplyDeleteLooks like my desk most of the time, I'm afraid. You'll get there, when you're ready ;)
ReplyDeleteIt will take time before you settle into some sort of routine and things will never be the same... I think you're amazing for coping the way you have.
It's really good you've made it today and hopefully we'll see you next week.

Go with it - everything will find a pattern eventually - take care.

It's lovely to have you back. I am not sleeping much at the moment either! Hope you get your desk sorted soon. Thanks for stopping by my desk.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like there's some very interesting stash on that desk. And as for the sleeping thing....I can sympathise completely. It's not too bad this time of year, in fact it's quite nice having a longer day.
ReplyDeleteMissed you last week, came by to check you weren't in a heap under the duvet and saw a couple posts, so that was a relief! Yu'll end up blitzing because you want to do something and can't...but do share - what are all the spritzers for - do I have to have one for each colour???
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your desk..and thanks for posting!!.....my desk, floor...any available space I have looks like that everytime I craft! Hugs Juls
My work space would look like that had I not spread out into the kitchen cupboards!!!lol.

The sleep thing hun, tis totally normal and completely understandable... lovely to see you back on the WOYWW... and remember.. mess is good! And, the best way to clean a room is to give it a good sweeping glance :O)) xx
ReplyDelete5.10 ouch!! But... it gives you more crafting time I guess =)
ReplyDeleteAnd if your desk is twice as big as the bit we can see, does that mean twice the creative clutter?
ReplyDelete;-) Up at 5am? sometimes I don't go asleep till then :-/
Anne xx

ReplyDeleteI have a desk like that at times guess we all do.

Everything will come together when you're ready, until then take the time to do exactly what YOU want to do.
ReplyDeleteWe all deal with things the best way we can and in our own way.
Please know I'm here for you if you'd like to chat.

I went from short nights to very long ones, where I had to drag myself from my bed and then I would fall asleep again later. I had loads of energy and a whirling mind and then no energy and a dead brain. Finally everything evened out in its own time ... with a little help from papercrafts which I discovered around that time.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a talented strong lady ...your art will give you comfort and strength. See you next week.xx
