IW 19

I've skipped a week!

Yes I know ....slap my wrists ;)

It's all part of the catch up process. I watched week 19 whilst dithering over my black gesso week 18 page and realised it was a quick page for a change and as I was in the groove I went for it.  :)

Background uses a piece of brown wrapping paper I've been using to protect my journal pages as I gesso or paint on them.

Added an eclectic mix of T!m Holtz stamps on a circus theme...

...and if clowns scare you, you had better look away now! Rofl

IW 17 all done

 

I've finished number 17 at Inspiration Wednesday.

Had to bodge together a couple of different stencils for the background...was happy with the image transfer :)

Onwards to week 18....staring at black gesso pages and wondering where to start! Lol

Amazing Grace...IW 16 done!

I have done week 16 and am pleased with the result.

I chose not to add modelling paste words over the shadow image (cut my own template) as it spoke enough to me as it was.

I used a Paperartsy flower stencil for the gold bubble arrangement behind the figure.

Already started week 17 pages.

Will they take me away if shadow people on a page start talking to me?

On that I'll leave you guessing ;)

Blogger and I are now back in touch!

I started this blog in 2008 and as I said yesterday I've been about to give up.....

....the act of actually writing about it yesterday focused my mind and I messed around with different things which resulted in me being back on track with blogger.

I think I've discovered the trick.....I need to be viewing the blogs from the link within the app itself and I seem to be signed in! Wow!

I thought I had managed to get photos from my Google account to show up too but it seems not so I've done it from the normal computer!!!

The little houses are memorial caskets for the deceased found in the cathedral of St. Pol de Leon whilst we were on a weekend break to Roscoff. Aren't they just fabulous? Some were very old dating back to the 1600's.

The watercolour is a bonus 'cos I can't seem to delete it off my draft post!!

Oh heck.....yet something else to work out!!

Give up on Blogger!

I truly do not want to give up on Blogger but....but....
Blogger makes it very difficult to leave comments on my Blogger Buddies Blogs when I use my iPad.......I've just discoverd my new hand me down iPhone lets me go to a persons blog who leaves a comment on mine and lets me comment which is a bit of a bonus....but viewing a non commenting persons blog and trying to leave a comment seems to be beyond me!!!!

On the iPad it won't keep me signed in and so it keeps asking me for my password every time I go to a new blog....eek! I just don't have the patience or the time for that sort of thing and I can't access a normal computer as easily as I used to either.

This is......if you are wondering....why I have not appeared to be around to see you much!

Sorry and will do my best to get to grips with the problem....if anyone has experience of this I'd love to know if you got round it and how :)

On a plus note I am making art journal pages and hope to be doing more of my usual stuff shortly.......if I can share it here I will....otherwise you might have to catch me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or Twitter instead

IW 15

I've just finished Inspiration Wednesday number 15!

Not up to date but am not worried about it....I don't find it enjoyable if I take the "I can get it finished first" approach ha ha :)

Holidays, work commitments, chalet and shed building and simply having fun with my hun have caused the delay.

Love the texture I managed to achieve.

The circular pinkish leaves are embedded in some fancy organic paper I used for making cones to hold my wedding confetti in...all say aah!

Happy with how it looks.

Making a start on week 16 now ;)
