Ribbons and Lace for The Artistic Stamper

Thanks for all the "Travel" related creations for last months challenge :)
So..... this month it's going to be
"Ribbons and Lace"
for April over at The Artistic Stamper Creative Team ;)

Now I'm not really a ribbons and lace sort of girl ;) but I cracked the whip and came up with this A4 sized scrapbook page...

Stamped the lacy border three times in Distress Ink scattered straw, bundled sage and victorian velvet...
...cut 3 mats for the photo's and stamped the marbled background in Archival crimson and coloured over with Distress antique linen...
Cut some T!m sizzix swirls and stamped the mini polka dots background in Archival black on the two larger ones and the houndstooth background on the smaller one...
...coloured the swirls with the same three colours used on the lace stamp and coloured the ribbons with them too...
stamped the word Beauty from the nudes A4 plate to finish off the page.

You really must take a look at the "Ribbons and Lace" creations the rest of the team have made and here are the DT member links for you.

So don't forget.............the monthly challenge is "Ribbons and Lace"
The rules are simple... all you need to do is make a piece of art, be it a card, ATC, wall art, altered art, scrapbook page ;)... just remember that it must include some rubber stamping and the theme... and... if you use Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry you will be entered into the draw twice! The prize is £15 worth of stamps from the Artistic Stamper shop... along with the KlingOn to mount them onto.
I hope you get chance to play at the challenge... it is open until April 30th and the winner will be chosen by Random.org shortly after :)

Thanks for looking and happy stamping
xoxo Sioux
