Stacks of Ink!

Whoops! it seems I've taken over the dining table again! For WOYWW the ATC's on the craft sheet are for the Artist Trading Club this month....still unsure about these...but am carrying on regardless and colouring them in..........and the stacks of ink?

Well whilst waiting for some elements to dry for a different ATC I was making I decided to do something I've been meaning to do for ages.....you know how it is!!

Stamped the wording with the small Studio G letter stamps......they are just peeking out from behind the ink stack in the first picture.....Oh! How I wish I could find some more of those at 99p!!! I've got three more colours of ink (Fired Brick, Anitque Linen and Dusty Concord) but they are in re-inker form.....I decided that I could probably save money that way.

.........I wonder if T!m's new colours will be the TSV on QVC on Craft day next Tuesday?....and more to the point will they really be any cheaper than anywhere else seeing as they have "such a large buying power" they always are banging on about!!........I do sometimes wonder at the P&P charges they come up with C&C are no different I noticed the other day on there that some Cut & Dry Foam was selling for £4.95 and the postage was exactly the same....outrageous!

  3. Agree on the postage issue, outragous! Both channels are the same. Love your DI's, and the way you have labelled them. I have some sitting on a shelf and in a box - can I send them round for you to do? ikki

  5. Fab work space .. now that is a cool way of doing it. I have put some ink on some paper, printed the colour on it ,and stuck it on the inks.. like your better , far to organised, lol
As for the P&P .. I think both the sites are rip pffs. hence never ever buy off any of them. Rather go to sites like Joanna sheen etc with no p&P and far cheaper items... cannot go wrong!

  7. P&P sucks doesn't it, sure that's where half of these companies make their money! Love the inks and the organised labels, Antique Linen is my favourite, I sponge it on everything!

  8. Love your inks. I don't know why they charge so much for P & P cos I send all I sell in our blog shop first class post and it really doesn't cost that much...guess they add more just to make more profit. It's a con.

  9. Great pics Artyjen gal! I thought I had allt eh Stufio G alphas *grin*...turns out I haven't. Really admire your labels...so not my style - I'd have handwritten the name and smudged the colour on the label - too lazy!

  10. I'm with you - the P&P on C&C is what stops me from buying some of the stuff - and the discount doesn't really make it any cheaper in the long run even if you pay more for the product elsewhere. They used to have free P&P weekends but not seen one of those for ages.

I love what you have done with your inks but i'd probably print out on the printer that faff with the stamps - good on you for making the effort.

  11. I'm with you on p&p, ordered some bits in the sizzix sale recently and by the time they sent my order I got one item out of the 5 as their stock control was shot away, but they still charged me the same postage which doubled the price of the item(!) they did refund it in the end when I complained. I have those studio g stamps they stock them in the range if that helps. Pam x

  15. Oho those ATC's look very interesting!! and all that inkypoos! I have none...(distress ink that is!) I agree, postage seems to have a law unto its own over on C and C and of course 10p a minute on the phone!I've only just noticed that!! They kept me hanging on for 25minutes once until I got fed up!! Single CD's can go for under a pound, I know coz I've sold some on ebay! and they change anything from 2,99 upwards!! They haven't had a free p&P for ages

  16. Hiya - re your comment on my blog - I;m not going to see Tim (although wouldn't mind) I was referring to Linda (a crafting Journey) - she tells us most days how many sleeps to go which makes me chuckle. You're more in Tims league than mine, I've only just started stamping... I've just noticed that you got Stamper of the Year from the stamp mag. Not sure how long ago this was but well done you!!! I've only been blogging since 4th Jan so some things are still over my head and have passed me by!!!

  18. You are organised labelling up your Inks - I must do this sometime!!!

I agree P&P is well over the top on both QVC and C&C. I tend to look around and find quite a few sites offer free P&P, okay sometimes you have to have a minimum spend but hey that's not difficult LOL!!!

Great workspace too by the way.
