WOYWW - Sowing the Seeds

It's WOYWW time again!
This time last week I thought for sure my sore throat and cold would have vanished by now but sadly not!!! Well.....the sniffles are better....but the sore throat is definately still here ;(
I've done my best to fight through it and at last I've sown my seeds in trays.....a bit late (though not as late as last year) but I'm sure they will catch up eventually....especially with the fab weather we are having :)

If you click the photo to enlarge you can see some lettuce, marigolds and pansy seeds have already come through and I only sowed them on Sunday!
To see what other ideas are germinating across the globe go visit Julia and be amazed!
Thanks for looking....love to stay and chat but the sore throat is telling me not to!!! LOL
xoxo Sioux

  12. Lots of fun things to do outside here. I got the tomatoes, peppers, and onions in. Think the beans, peas, and corn will be planted today. I love gardening all most as much as my crafting. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #28

  13. That's so satisfying when you see them start to sprout! I see you use old fruit lids as propogators too - we do that too. Yesterday though it was so hot in the greenhouse we nearly lost all the alyssum seedlings - poor things were being baked alive! I'm not complaining about this glorious weather though, it's fantastic isn't it! I am complaining a little bit though about my sore throat (snap!!). Hope you have a good Easter xxx

  19. Such a different WOYWW blog from the usual - I really enjoyed reading about your seeds but not that your sore throat is not getting better. Hope you soon start to feel well again. Have you tried gargling with salt water?

  20. Morning - looks like you have been busy! I too spent some time in the garden yesterday (shock horror as I rarely go out there apart from rescuing a football or light saber (dont ask) from a tree) - but I managed to fill our green wheelie bin with some bushes I hacked down - very pleased with myself! How are you getting on with your manufactured stamps?

  21. My son would love you. He has a garden the size of a postage stamp, but his veggies he has to grow! He has always had something growing somewhere - he started when he was only 18 months old and has not stopped since - he even works for a landscape architect!
He has such green fingers that I think he would even get a broomstick to grow LOL
